One woman was killed and three others injured following a firecracker explosion in a house in Kotbazar under Payagpur police station area here last night.
Amana Begum (45) was killed and her sister-in-law and two children injured in the accident, SP Ram Lal Verma said, adding that the injured have been admitted to Payagpur community health centre.
According to locals, Amana's husband Munna Manihar used to make firecrackers to be used in wedding functions at his residence, the SP said.
