An 18-year-old youth was killed and his uncle seriously injured when their motorcycle was hit by a private bus on the Moga-Kotkapura road, police said.
Gurlabh Singh died on the spot while his uncle was injured in the mishap near Smalsar village, they said, adding that the bus driver sped off after the incident.
A case has been registered in this connection and inquiries are on, police said.
