A woman was today killed and five others sustained injuries when a car in which they were travelling overturned here, police said.
The accident took place on the Indore-Khandwa road, about 15 kms from here, when in order to prevent a collision with a truck coming from the opposite direction, the car slipped down the roadside and then overturned, a sub-inspector at Simrol police station said.
The deceased has been identified as Sushila Bai (65), he said, adding that out of the five injured, one was stated to be in a serious condition.
