One person was killed in a road accident on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway near Chhaproli village, police said today.
The incident took place last night under Surajpur police station area and the deceased is identified as Anil, a Tata Sumo driver.
One of the tyres of the sumo got burst, following which Anil alighted the vehicle, police said.

While he was checking the burst tyre, a speeding canter hit him and he died on the spot, they said.
The canter driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the spot, police said, adding, the body has been sent for post-mortem.
