One person was killed and three others injured when an old building collapsed here tonight.
The mishap occurred around 10 pm and rescue operations were on at the site, Joint Director of Fire and Rescue Services S Vijayasekar told PTI.
The injured have been taken to hospital.
The building was located near the Customs House in the Second Line Beach area, housing a number of commercial establishments and offices, in the city.
