1 killed in Nanoor clash

between two factions at Nanoor in Birbhum district today, as locals claimed both factions belonged to a political party.

Police said Arman Seikh [32] was killed in a clash which broke out when one group was working in a farm land at Poshla locality under Nanoor police station area.

Arman died while being shifted to Bolpur Sub-divisional Hospital from village primary health centre in a very critical condition.

Local people claimed both factions belonged to the Trinamool Congress and it was an armed exchange but neither of this was confirmed by the police.
