1 shot dead, 2 injured for objecting to bike stunts

One person was shot dead and two others were injured after a bike-bourne assailant allegedly opened fire for raising an objection to the latter's stunts performed on a roadside in Parikshitgarh district here, police said today.

The incident happened yesterday when the three accused identified, as Ravi (22), Devendra (27) and Sumit(25), were stopped by the victims from performing stunts near Parikshitgarh district bus stand here, Police Superintendent Captain M M Baig said.

One of the bike-bourne assailant opened fire on them killing Ravi on the spot and injuring two others, he said.

The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, Baig said.
 

An FIR against the accused has been lodged by the victim's family member, police said adding that the matter is under investigation.
