Ten persons were today arrested in Asafgarh village in Behat area of the district after a clash broke out between two groups following an alleged incident of eve-teasing, police said.
Four Dalit girls were harassed by two youths, belonging to another commnuity, when they were returning after collecting hay from forest, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Jagdish Sharma said.
The girls complained to their family members about the incident following which the clash occurred, Sharma said.
The ASP added that 10 persons involved in the clash from both sides have been arrested and a case registered in the matter.
