The city police today arrested at least ten persons from two localities of Ranihat in connection with a group clash on Friday.
The police seized one sophisticated revolver, ten rounds of ammunition and five cell phones and forwarded them to court on the day.
Police said residents of Sagadia Sahi and Gauda Sahi of the locality entered into a pitched battle on Friday over differences on election of Sahi murabi (local head).
While the clashes initially began with pelting of stones and glass bottles, soon bombs were hurled from both sides injuring many.
