Ten persons were today killed and several others injured when the bus they were travelling in collided with a concrete mixer truck here, police said.
Seven of them died on the spot, while three succumbed to injuries en route to hospital, they said.
Superintendent of Police of Ariyalur district Ziaul Haque told PTI that they were ascertaining the identities of those killed.
He said the critically injured had been admitted to Ariyalur Government Hospital.
