10 mega road projects to be completed by June in Amritsar

The Punjab government today said the work on the 10 major road projects worth Rs 15.32 crore in the Amritsar district were on the advanced stage of completion.

While informing this here, an official spokesperson said the construction on the different 72 km long road stretches in the district were in full swing and it would be completed by June this year.

These projects include 23 km long

Amritsar-Ajnala-Ramdass-Dera Baba Nanak road, 11 km long GT Road-Byepass to Jagdev Kalan-Loharka and 9 km long Ramdass to Fatehgarh Churian road.

The spokesman informed that Rs 4200 crore would be spent by the state government on road infrastructure during the year 2013-14.
