Ten members of a family have been sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court here in connection with murder of a Dalit youth seventeen years ago.
Chandra Pasi, 22, was shot dead over a property dispute in Harahi Bari village in Chauri area, the prosecution said.
After hearing both the parties, Additional District and Sessions judge Sanjay Shanker Pandey held all the accused guilty yesterday.
Police said that all the convicts were sent to jail today.
