10-year-old kidnapped boy rescued, 3 abductors arrested

A ten-year-old boy, who was kidnapped from a park here on December 25 for a ransom of Rs 20 lakh, was rescued in the wee hours today from Manyawas village, near Jaipur, the police said.

Three abductors Mahadev, Anuj, and Ravindra were arrested for kidnapping the boy, the police said.

Ghyanshya, studying in Class II, was playing in the Ahinsa Park near Shyam Nagar when he was kidnapped by the accused, two of them auto-taxi drivers.

The accused then called the victim's father Pintu Rana, who plays Dhol (drums) in marriages, demanding Rs 20 lakh as ransom to release the boy.
 

The police on getting information, arrested three of the accused, while two of their accomplices are yet to be arrested, the police said.

The boy was handed over to his parents in Sodala area this morning, they added.
