A 10-year-old boy was killed allegedly in celebratory firing during a wedding function in Gorakhpur and the accused has been arrested, police said here.
Shreyansh suffered serious injuries when Dilip Dubey opened fire from an illicit revolver during a wedding reception in Avas Vikas Colony, Kuda Ghat under Cantt police station area late last night, police said.
The child was rushed to the medical college hospital where he succumbed to the injuries, police said, adding that an FIR has been lodged and the accused arrested with .32 bore revolver and empty cartridge.
