BJP Jharkhand unit president Laxman Gilua today said about 100 acres of land has been acquired for the proposed steel plant, to be set up by Vedanta group in Manoharpur, about 120 kilometre from here, in West Singhbhum district.
He said altogether 450 acres of land was required for the proposed steel plant and expressed confidence that the remaining 350 acres of land would be acquired by the end of this month.
Gilua was here to participate in the two-day Executive Committee meeting of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).
