No 100-per cent requirement in DU cut-off list might have come as a relief to the applicants but Ambedkar University in the national capital has set the ceiling at perfect 100 for five courses.

For its postgraduate courses with a total of 480 seats, the varsity has received 7,885 applications against last year's 5,687.

This year, the university has also waived fees for SC, ST and PwD (persons with disability) categories for undergraduate classes.

B R Ambdekar University, which was established by Delhi Government in 2008, is a state funded varsity with a student strength of 1800. The university offers various undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral programmes.

The admission process for undergraduate courses offered by the nine departments at the varsity began on May 9 and the last date of application was June 24.
