The recruitment drive was held for the youth belonging to Nandpora and Zuzvi Khanyar areas and 100 were recruited as constables after they were put through various physical and other tests, an official spokesman said.
DGP Kuldeep Khoda said the recruitment drive had been initiated to select "energetic youth from unrepresented areas in the state".
Among the 100 youth recruited, 35 are graduates and 39 have finished higher secondary school, the spokesman said.
