About 1,000 quintals of relief material were seized by Haridwar district administration from the godown of a company allegdedly owned by a local BSP leader, official sources said today.
The relief material packed in 1000 sacks of one quintal each to be distributed among flood-hit people of the district were recovered yesterday by police from the godown of Shubham Trading Company allegedly owned by BSP leader Ravindra Chaudhary, Luksar SDM Nasir Mohammad said.
A search is on to trace Chaudhry, he said.
