100for100 Foundation to organise 'I RUN'

Not-for-profit organisation 100 For 100 Foundation will organise event 'I RUN' on Sunday where participants will be paid up for taking part in it and can voluntarily contribute the prize money for various causes.

The run will be held at GMC Balayogi Stadium at Gachibowli from 7 AM onwards on Sunday, the Foundation said in a statement today.

In the 'I RUN', participants would be paid based on the distance they complete, if one runs for 100 metres, he or she will earn Rs 100. They stand to win a maximum of Rs 2,000 for completing 2000 metres (two kms), it said.
 

"'I RUN' is neither a race nor a charity run. Every participant wins here. Of course, there is a mission and it's to promote a healthy world and a healthier soul," it said.

The maiden event will have 100 participants.

The runner can simply take home the money he or she earned or give to someone or some institution, organisation, cause one chooses, it added.

Interested participants will have to register online on website www.100for100.In. Selection of the candidates for run will be random and in sponsored cases, it will be based on invitation, the statement further said.
