Security forces today recovered over 100 kgs of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) during an anti-Naxal operation in Bihar's Gaya district, officials said.
The operation was conducted jointly by paramilitary CRPF and state police in the Bankebazar and Imamganj area of the district.
During the operation, a senior official said, 14 IEDs of five kgs each, three tiffin IEDs of 10 kg each and 10 packets of explosives (250 gm each) were recovered from a hideout suspected to have been used by Maoists.
The entire cache has been handed over to local police, they said.
