The accused, including owners and managers of various units involved in bags, purse making and zari manufacturing, were booked under relevant sections of Juvenile Justice Act, Child Labour Act and Indian Penal Code, police said.
The raid was conducted by Assistant Commissioner of Police Vasant Dhobale-led Social Service Branch in coordination with NGOs.
The rescued children, aged between 8 and 14 years were sent to a remand home, and the process of contacting their relatives has started.
