Eleven people have been detained in China for allegedly setting a building ablaze in the port city of Tianjin which killed 10 people.
A pre-dawn fire on Friday tore through an apartment in a high-rise building in which five people were also injured and an area of about 300 sq metres was damaged.
The incident took place due to the construction team's misconduct of emptying the fire water tank without any permit, official media reported.
The incident had prompted the local government to order a city-wide safety inspection, while traffic controls in the area were lifted.
