Eleven persons were sentenced to life imprisonment by a court here in a six-year-old murder case.
Additional Sessions Judge Satyadev Gupta yesterday convicted 11 persons in the murder of Juggilal on May 29, 2009 in Bikisiya village, government counsel Rajkumar Verma said.
Juggilal and others were attacked following a row over their cattle entering an agriculture field of rivals, he said.
After hearing both the sides, the court sentenced Ram Kumar, Prithiviraj Verma, Omkar, Ayodhya Prasad, Pradip, Tunna, Guddan, Mukul, Sandip, Kashiram and Rinku to life term.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 each, he added.
