11 injured in clash over land dispute in Jhalawar

As many as 11 persons were injured in a group clash over a piece of land at Indira Colony in Jhalawar today, police said.

Seven persons of a group and four belonging to another clashed, pelted stones at each other and fires shots. Two of the injured sustained bullet injuries.

All the injured have been rushed to a government hospital in critical condition, police said.

One 12-bore gun (licenced), one pistol (unlicensed) and four cartridges were seized from a group led by Ramswarop Patidar, the main accused, they said.

On the plot possessed by Ratanlal Patidar in Indira Colony, a group of persons led by Ramswaroop attacked the former with stones and then opened fire in which two persons sustained injuries, they said.
 

Both Ratanlal and Ramswaroop claimed their rights over the plot leading to the clash, police said. Both parties have lodged FIRs against each other.
