At least 11 people were injured when a clash erupted between two groups over money dispute at Shahpur town here, police said today.
The incident happened yesterday when Pervez asked Rizwan Qureshi to return back Rs 6000 he owed but the latter expressed his inability due to demonetisation, they said.
This led to confrontation between the duo and it further escalated as others also got involved in the scuffle. Stone pelting incident was also reported from the scene.
Police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. The injured were admitted to hospital, they added.
