A man was arrested in Anantnag district following recovery of 11-kg poppy straw from his possession, police said today.
Abdul Majeed Haroo was arrested during a naka checking at Kanganhall, in Anantnag, 75 kms from here yesterday, a police spokesman said.
He said 11-kg poppy straw was recovered from possession of the arrested man.
