11 persons including five children were killed when their jeep collided head on with a truck in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, police said.
The incident happened in Kelwa area of the district, when the victims were returning from an engagement function yesterday, SHO Karan Singh said.
All the occupants of the jeep were killed, he said, adding the bodies were handed to the family members today.
The deceased have been identified as Vinod (25), Babu Lal (40), Sundar (60), Manju (32), Javri (50), Rekha (30), Ajay (5), Bannu (2), Pooja (8), Pushkar (10) and Munna (5 months).
The truck has been impounded and the driver is absconding, he added.
