An 11-month-old baby was killed days before his first birthday after he allegedly came under the wheels of his neighbour's car in outer Delhi's Ranhola area, the police said today.
The incident, which was reported last evening, occurred when a man was reversing his car, they said.
The child, Lakshya, was playing outside his house when he came under the wheels of the car. His mother has alleged that she had signalled the driver to stop reversing the vehicle, but he did not pay heed, the police said

He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
The child's first birthday was next week. The matter is being investigated, the police said.
