As many as 11 people were killed in rain-related incidents in Uttar Pradesh today where Sharda, Ghaghra and Burhi Rapti continue to flow above the danger mark at some places.
According to Relief Commissioner's office, while four lives were lost in Sant Kabirnagar, seven others were killed in Saharanpur districts in rain-related incidents.
With this, the total number of lives lost in the state this monsoon has come to 131, the officials said.

The Met officials forecast rain and thundershowers would occur at few places in the state in the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, Central Water Commission sources said that river Ganga was flowing near the red mark in Fatehgarh, forcing the authorities to make all necessary preparations to deal with the situation while Yamuna was also close to the danger mark as Prayag ghat in Mathura.
Sharda continues to flow above the danger mark in Palia Kalan and just under the mark at Sharda Nagar while Ghaghra was flowing above the red mark at Elgin Bridge, Ayodhya and Turtipar and was also rising at the latter two places.
River Rapti was flowing very close to the danger level all through the course from Kakardhari (Bahraich) to Birdghat (Gorakhpur) and Burhi Rapti was flowing above the red mark at Kakrahi (Siddhartnagar).
Quano was flowing above the danger mark at Mukhlispur (Sant Kabirnagar) and just under it at Chandradeep Ghat and Basti.
