A local court today sentenced 11 persons to life in a case relating to the murder of an history-sheeter two years ago.
Palani, who was accused in three murder cases, was brutally murdered in a bar in 2011 by some gangsters due to previous enmity, Annathanapatty police inspector Santhoshkumar said.
Salem District court Judge R Nassemabanu sentenced two gang leaders Perumal and 'Kozhi' Baskar besides nine others to life imprisonment and also imposed a Rs 10,000 fine on each of them.
