11 realty firms to jointly promote Sohna region in Gurgaon

As many as 11 realty developers today came together to promote Sohna, located at the southern end of Gurgaon, and jointly coordinate with the state government for the infrastructure development of the region.

The 11 real estate developers joined hands under the banner of CREDAI-NCR, the NCR chapter of the realtor's apex body CREDAI that has over 10,000 members across the country.

"At present, nearly 20 projects have been launched in Sohna comprising about 15,000 apartments. The apartments price in this region is at least Rs 30 lakh cheaper than Gurgaon," CREDAI (National) Vice President Rohit Raj Modi told reporters here.
 

The region offers housing projects in a price range of Rs 4,000-5,000 per sq ft, he added.

Haryana government has given licence for 325 acre group housing and 295 acres of townships in Sohna under Gurgaon district.

These 11 developers would jointly run media campaigns and marketing activities to promote the location, besides taking up issues with the Haryana government for expediting infrastructure development in this region.

They would also run a CSR campaign for the welfare of the villages around Sohna. These social initiative would include education programmes, tree plantation and toilet installation.

The developers are Ashiana Homes, Ashiana Housing, Supertech, Central Park, Eldeco, ILD, CHD Developers, Silverglades, MKS Ventures, Gold Souk and Nimai Developers.
