11 Ugandan girls rescued from flesh trade

Eleven girls from Uganda, who were forced into flesh trade, have been rescued by police from a house in Bagalur area.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house, rescued the girls and arrested two men, both Ugandans.

Police said the duo had brought these girls to the city with the promise of getting them good jobs but then forced them into flesh trade.

An amount of Rs 3,000, seven mobile phones and Rs 1.25 lakh worth liquor were seized from the house, police said.
