At least 110 landmines planted by suspected Naxalites across three villages in a row in Jharkhand's Palamau district were today recovered by security forces.
"The 110 landmines were connected in a series covering Talghati, Matoli and Icchak villages along Panki and Balumath road," Deputy Inspector General of Police (Palamau Range) Saket Kumar Singh said here.
The distance between each explosive was five to ten feet and five of the landmines weighed about 50 kg.

CRPF, anti-Naxal Jaguar force and district armed police were engaged in the search operation, the DIG said adding 14 landmines were defused.
