117 gm gold seized from Pak passenger at Munabao

About 117 gram of gold worth Rs 4.32 lakh was seized from a Pakistani passenger who alighted from the Thar Express train at Munabao Railway Station, an official of the customs department said today.

The custom sleuths spotted about 117 gram gold worth Rs 4.32 lakh with passenger Jayaram during checking of the baggage in Thar Express, Assistant Commissioner of Custom Department Sunil Sharma said.

Jayaram was travelling from Pakistan to Munabao, he said.

The passenger was interrogated and the gold was seized, Sharma added.
