12 computers stolen from school

Thieves took away 12 computers from a school and ransacked its physics and Chemistry laboratories in Nadia district, police said today.

The theft occurred at Pritinagar Bhudeb Smriti Vidyapith for Girls' at Ranaghat last night.

It was found in the morning that the thieves broke open the computer room in the first floor of the school building and took away 12 computers.

Headmistress Gitali Dutta Saha said they were worried about the security of the school.
