Twelve passengers were injured when a speeding truck rammed into a bus on NH-57 under Jhanjharpur police station area in Bihar's Madhubani district today.
The incident took place near Mohna locality when the truck hit a stationary bus from behind injuring 12 passengers of the bus, a police official said.
The injured persons were admitted to a Sub-Divisional Hospital at Jhanjharpur where the attending doctors referred one seriously injured passenger Kusum Lal Yadav to Darbhanga Medical College, he said.
The truck driver escaped, but the vehicle was impounded.
