12 missing children traced from Panchkula

At least 12 missing children have been traced by a special team of Haryana Police in district Panchkula under a special drive to rescue such minors.

Operation Muskaan is being run from July 1 to 31 to trace and rescue missing children in the state following the directions of the central government, a police spokesman said.

He said that the team has traced these children from various places in Panchkula.

Out of the 12 children, 11 have been reunited with their parents.

The remaining child, who is 12 years old and was traced from Nalagarh road, Pinjore, says that he hails from Bihar and does not know anyone here, the spokesman said.
 

The child has been sent to Bal Sadan here.
