12 people injured in LPG cylinder blast in Raj's Ajmer

Twelve people, including three children and five women, were injured in a gas cylinder blast in Ajmer district's Beawar town, police said today.

A function was underway in an inn when a LPG gas cylinder exploded, damaging the building, they said. As many as five women, three children and four men were injured in the incident, police said.

Condition of one of the injured is stated to be critical, they said.

Two cars parked outside the building as well as adjoining buildings were also damaged in the blast, the police said.

The rescue operation is underway to ascertain if any other person is trapped under the debris, they added.
