125 e-services in Haryana helped save Rs 700 cr: Khattar

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said Haryana government has started 125 e-services in the state which not only helped in keeping a check on corruption, but also resulted in savings of about Rs 700 crore.

Khattar was addressing BJP representatives after launch of an app in 'Digital BJP' programme, organised during the training camp of state party representatives here.

He said after the launch of this app, all party communications would be done through electronic medium.

Senior BJP leader and party's incharge of Haryana affairs, Anil Jain and state BJP president Subhash Barala were also present.
The Chief Minister said the process to fill up 5,000 posts
 

of constables in the police department will be completed soon.

Apart from this, the process for recruiting 5,432 constables and 380 sub-inspectors is in progress and will be completed in the next financial year.

He said the law and order situation is under control in the state and cited comparative statistics to support his claim.

Police Assistance Centres were being set up at every 20 kilometres on all national highways passing through the state.

The state government has constructed 3,600 new houses for police personnel, he informed the House.

Haryana is the first state in the country to announce weekly off for police personnel, he said.
