12 courts were set up in the Lok Adalat for speedy disposal of the cases.
District Sessions Judge and Chairman of Legal Aid Authority K K Garg said about 250 undertrials were freed at earlier Lok Adalats held in the jail and a similar court will be held in November.
A Mega Lok Adalat will be conducted on December 1.
Garg, who also opened a legal aid clinic in the Central jail premises here said, volunteers will regularly meet the inmates for counselling and guide them to avail legal aid.
