Over 125 practicing doctors of East Singhbhum district have been enrolled in a day during the BJP's ongoing membership drive, a party spokesman today said.
Amidst the membership drive going on across the district, we have launched a special drive for the doctors on Sunday, said Anil Modi, spokesman of the district committee of BJP, here.
Altogether 128 doctors have been enrolled in the party fold within a day, Modi claimed adding that the new members assured to bring in more of their community members in the party fold.
Referring the ongoing membership drive, Modi said it has started in the district last week and would continue till March 31 with response being very impressive.
The motive of the membership drive was to reach out to each house of the district and enroll at least one of its member in the party, he said.
Jharkhand has target to make 25 lakh new members during the drive, Modi added.
