: A Twelth standard student on his way to attend tuition classes with his friend was killed when a lorry rammed their motorbike near Pallipalayam, police said.
The mishap occured just one km from their school, he said.
The injured pillion rider has been hospitalised.
The lorry driver fled the scene and a search was on to nab him, police said.
