In a major reshuffle, the Punjab government today transferred 13 IPS officers including six IGs and 21 PPS officers with immediate effect.
Among the shifted IPS officers, Parampal Singh has been posted as IG (Policy and Rules) while S K Asthana, who was holding the charge of IGP (Modernization) has been given the charge of IGP (Bathinda Zone), an official said.
R N Dhoke has been given the charge of IGP (Headquarter) while Naresh Arora has been posted as IGP-cum-Director of (SSG) Chandigarh with additional charge as IGP (Border) Amritsar.

Nilabh Kishore has been promoted as IG (Counter Intelligence) while Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh has also been promoted as IGP STF (Intelligence).
Kishore and Singh were holding the rank of DIGs.
DIG Shive Kumar Verma has been given the charge of IGP (Economic and Offences Wing), Vigilance Bureau Punjab and A K Mittal has been given the charge of DIG (Border Range) Amritsar.
Naveen Singla, who was holding the charge of AIG (Intelligence), has been posted as SSP SBS Nagar and Sukhminder Singh Mann, who was SSP Faridkot, has been posted as Commandant 5th IRB Amritsar.
The official further said among Punjab Police Services (PPS) officers, Jasdeep Singh has been posted as SSP (Gurdaspur) while Harkamalpreet Singh has been given the charge of SSP Amritsar (Rural).
Snehdeep Sharma has been posted as SSP (Moga) while Harjit Singh Pannu has been posted as AIG (Intelligence).
Jagdeep Singh Hundal, who was SSP (Gurdaspur), has been posted as Commandant 4th IRB Kapurthala while Ravinder Kumar Bakshi has been posted as SSP (Ferozepur).
Darshan Singh Mann has been posted as SSP (Faridkot) while Manjit Singh has been given the charge of Assistant Commandant 7th Battalion PAP Jalandhar.
Shamsher Singh Boparai has been posted as Commandant 5th CDO Battalion Bahadurgarh while Raghbir Singh has been posted AIG PAP-2 Jalandhar.
Among other PPS officers who have been shifted are Ashok Puri, Kashmir Gill, Jaspal Singh, R S Uppal, Gurinder Singh and Paramjit Singh.
