Several radio stations in Haiti are reporting that 13 children have been hospitalised for malnutrition.
The children living in the country's southern mountains were hospitalised in the seaside town of Jacmel.
Five years ago, at least 26 severely malnourished children died in the same area. Hunger and malnutrition have long been problems in the southern mountains because it's hard to reach and vulnerable to storms. Many farmers in the region lost crops during last year's hurricane season.
