: Thirteen major temples in Tamil Nadu will soon sell pictures of the shrines, almanacs, prasadams and religious books online, a top official of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments said here today
The scheme would be launched in the famous Meenakshi temple here and then extended in a phased manner to 12 big temples in the state, benefitting devotees in cities in India and abroad, HR&CE Commissioner P Dhanabal said.
He said the calendars and pictures of the temples would also be made available to NRIs also.
A website was being created to market all of these and would be ready in the next few weeks, he said.
