The pilgrims had reportedly bought the swords from Pushkar in Rajasthan during their religious tour, police said.
Police intercepted their vehicle on Sanver road near here and found 15 swords in it.
The pilgrims did not possess any valid documents to prove the purchase of the weapons, police said.
A probe in the case is on.
