13-yr-old killed in firing between rival groups

A 13-year-old boy was among two persons killed in an armed clash between rival groups in the Bahjoi area here, police said today.

According to police, personal enmity was the reason behind the clash late last night in Kisauli village which saw firearms being used by the warring sides that were allegedly led by a duo identified as Rajendra and Ramautar.

Anuj (13) and Sahukar (28) died on the spot as the rival groups opened fire, they said, adding that two others were injured in the clash.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital where their condition is now stable, police said.
 

An FIR has been registered in the matter and further inquiries are on, they added.
