A 13-year-old boy was shot at allegedly by an unknown person in Sector 21A area here, police said today.
According to Investigating Officer Darpan, the boy was shot at his waist while playing in a local market at around 9.30 pm yesterday.
His father is a vegetable vendor and sells vegetables in the same market, he said, adding that the boy was rushed to the B K Hospital from where he was referred to Safdarjang Hospital in New Delhi.
The minor boy is out of danger now, the IO said.
A probe is on in matter and after the investigation a case will be registered in this regard, he said.
