130 candidates have so far filed nomination papers for the fifth and final phase of Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal on May 12, Election Commission officials said today.
17 Lok Sabha constituencies that will go to polls in the fifth phase are Baharampore, Krishnagar, Ranaghat, Bongaon, Barrackpore, Dum Dum, Barasat, Basirhat, Jaynagar, Mathurapur, Diamond Harbour, Jadavpur, Kolkata (South), Kolkata (North), Tamluk, Contai and Ghatal.
"With two more days left for filing nominations in this phase, 10 candidates each have filed their nominations from Diamond Harbour and Kolkata (South)," OSD in the CEO's office Amit Roy Chowdhury.

Barrackpore, Barasat, Jaynagar and Kolkata (North), eight each from Mathurapur and Ghatal, seven each from Ranaghat, Dum Dum, Basirhat and Jadavpur, five from Baharampore, four from Tamluk and three from Contai," he said.
