In reply to a question in Lok Sabha, Urban Development minister Kamal Nath today said that of the 134 complaints received since 2010, 51 had been redressed while 83 complaints were still under process.

He also said that three private hospitals were not providing free treatment and the matter was pending before the High Court of Delhi.

In response to another question, Minister of state in the UD ministry Deepa Dasmunshi said the National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) had prepared a functional plan on transport for NCR 2032.

She said the plan had recommended eight Regional Rapid Transit System Corridors.

The corridors are Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut, Delhi-Gurgaon- Rewari-Alwar, Delhi-Faridabad-Ballabhgarh-Palwal, Ghaziabad -Khurja, Delhi-Sonipat-Panipat, Delhi-Bahadurgarh-Rohtak, Delhi-Ghaziabad-Hapur and Delhi-Shahdra-Baraut.

In response to another question, Dasmunshi said that of the total 552 projects under Urban Infrastructure and Governance sub mission of the JNNURM scheme, 163 had reported physical completion.

She listed delays in receipt of permission by authorities (railways, forest etc), lack of capacity and land acquisition and contractual issues as some of the constraints which made implementation of projects difficult.
